In this project I painted an abandoned tank from the Six-Day War near Kibbutz Megiddo entirely white, displacing it from its military function and turning it into a temporary sculpture. The intervention neutralizes the tank’s authority and reframes it as an image-object suspended between ruin and monument. Using photo documentation of the action, I generated an AI-based 3D model, translating the tank from physical reality into an algorithmic reconstruction. From this image I produced a printed model, returning the transformed object back into material space. The work traces a loop between object, image, and simulation, where each translation distances the tank from its original function while intensifying its symbolic role as a reflection on the Israeli defense budget and the normalization of military infrastructure.
