Barcelona is a pilgrimage site for street skateboarding, a phenomenon which the extreme video Jam Session is documenting. located in the epicenter of Barcelona skateboarding culture, Plaça del Àngels, where the MACBA, Barcelona’s modern art museum.

 

I placed a custom-made ramp used as an experiment to see how the skaters will demonstrate their skills.

The MACBA library reform is a planned transformation of the Placa del Àngels and MACBA which will affect its vitality as a skateboarding spot.

 

Found texts from surfing the internet are voiced over in the video, illustrating the reform from third person perspective.

The skateboarders in the video are performers which capture a fleeting moment before the square might lose its skateboarding community, supposedly for the common good.
